I thought only Michiganders said “Meijer’s”…
(MET: I do know a guy from MI … 🙂 Interesting … ).
Went to the small town Walmart 20 miles north of me this afternoon… needed to get some food items in advance of a potent winter storm that is due to hit within 24 hours… took the ad with me… bought 14 Cars from the Mel Dorado case (2012 case A) for $14.98 with tax… didn’t make a dent as to what was on the pegs.
Walmart ended up matching Take Flights for a $1 too.
I stopped at the local Meijer last night – singles were $1.00 each… the 20 McQueen and Francesco were gone… the 8 other Cars were gone… they were down to less than 40 Finn… I’d stopped at Walmart a few minutes earlier and they were down to just McQueen and Francesco… now I know why.
I’ll check the Sunday ad and see about running up to a small town Walmart later this morning.
Thanks for the heads-up! I’m headed out to hit up as many Wal-Marts as I can get to before the stores close. $1 cars are great for customs!
Also my Walmart price matched these even did 2 packs. Got 10 Cars for $7
For a buck I’ll clear out as many stores as I can and donate them.
