Most Target stores seem to have been restocked with the CARS 2 box sets. Other than gift giving – if you’re planning on self gifting these to yourself, just hold on for three-four weeks.

There will be a massive clearance in a few weeks and it’ll be the last we see of these … so right after Christmas, it should drop 30% on the 26th (or even sooner) and then it’s 50% and if lasts, 70% off by mid January … unless you live in an area with just one Target store, there should be plenty to go around. So, if you’ve been holding out on picking up one exclusive (like Denise Beam) at regular prices with 3 repeats, at 30-70% off, it’s a much more enticing plus in most cases, you get the upgrade to unibodies on the racers. As far as I can tell, none of the “exclusives” have been upgraded to unibodies (Denise, Bruno, etc …) so if you have them, you’re set but if you’ve been staring it down, you should only have a few more weeks of “this Target shelf ain’t big enough for the both of us, you NCF scum … ” … and if you talk to the box set in that tone, you should scare off other shoppers. 🙂 Try not to frighten kids, only adults though. 🙂
