Order An iPad From Best Buy – They Might Send You Five (& Charge You For One)
Bought one. Invoice reads one. Charged for one. Got 5 iPads.
While this customer called up Best Buy to try and straighten it out … Consumerist looked up the law ..
” (FTC) – Legally, anything that is shipped to your home is yours to keep. This is in order to prevent companies from shipping you merchandise that you never asked for, then hounding you for the money. So theyโd be well within their rights to keep or sell the iPads, or even hit them with sledgehammers if thatโs what they feel like doing.”
The story ends well – you can read the rest at The Consumerist.
I feel bad for the person who DID order 5 iPad’s but only got 1. Good luck proving THAT!
Well his proove is right here on Take 5 a Day !!!! ๐
Looks like case A… 5 repeat! ๐
The guy who got fired for okaying 17.5 million Finn McMissiles obviously found work at Best Buy!
Funny there PD. very good. Hey do you think it’s possible that someday a collector needs Finn but just can’t find one anywhere?
Maybe… then shovels will fly of the shelves for landfill digging! ๐
It’s possible but not likely.
I remember when all you could find at Big Lots was nothing but rows of Supercharged Lizzies.
