We are Looney Tunes Nuts… Will be hitting this one
Chuck Jones was an animation genius whose career spanned over 60 years. It’s difficult to pick up a general treatise on U.S. animation and NOT see his name come up. He worked with many other noted animators and studios during his career including Ub Iwerks (who was also worked closely with Walt Disney), Walter Lantz, Warner Brothers, MGM and, eventually Chuck Jones Productions. He also collaborated with Dr. Suess on TV animation for “The Grinch” and “Horton”. He even worked with F.D.R. in 1944, directing one of his election campaign films. Even at age 89, he left us too soon.
The Chuck Jones Experience would definitely be a place to see in Vegas!
Not sure if it’s worth $20, but it looks like fun. Especially the voice-over studio.
Animation cels are about the only thing I have more of than Cars. Although I do not have a single Looney Toons one.
