Mattel Disney Pixar CARS Diecasts: Radiator Springs Classic CARS 1 Wave 2 Out
It looks like Wave 2 is out …

There were only 15 total singles on the list of Radiator Springs Classic singles – 8 were released in the first wave, leaving 7 – 6 shown here. The only missing photo is N20 Cola – was it released as part of Wave 2? Will it be mixed in with subsequent re-releases of wave 1 & 2 (aka: case A & B)? Chime in if you spot N20 Cola.

In case you missed it, CARS 1 diecasts will be mixed in with the normal 2013 singles cases – though only Flo from wave 2. You can see the full list of CARS 1 diecasts coming back HERE … At this point, we do not know if CARS 1 mixed in with the CARs 2 singles cases will sport a different card design or the Radiator Springs Classic look but minus the ONLY AT TRU sticker snipe.

They just look great on those cards don’t they? Of course we have all of these in different, older releases, but these are awesome and we want ’em all! Admittedly the choice of singles is odd, but it is great to see some of these old favorites again. Love the cardbacks…
So there are now going to be Cars 1 and toons mixed in with the Cars 2 cases? Is that what I read, or was Kabuto in Cars 2 somewhere?
We all have seen all the complaining about flying cars and repaints, blah blah blah, but there really has been a lot of neat stuff to chase after lately. No complaints here.

Great for collectors! Will Supercharged Sheriff still bring stoopid $ on fleabay? Currently the cheapest BIN on card is $20!
These are selling like hot cakes everywhere. I would be suprised if they don’t continue the line.

Those are the only two from this release I need… kind of like Shiny Wax in wave 1.
Even though I’ve been collecting for 5 years and have these in other formats, I like them and plan to collect them all… This is Flo’s first non-lenticular release as a single… same for Octane Gain and Lil Torquey Pistons… I have Mater and Sheriff on every cardback… Great find – hope to see them in stores soon.
Flo with Tray was a non-lenticular Final Lap release, but otherwise yes, this is Flo’s first non-lenticular release as a single.
Flo was a single in the Storytellers line.
Storyteller’s single Flo, saw her in the first wave back in 2009.
