Mattel Disney Pixar CARS Take Flight Diecasts: Airborne Now Through November Visual Checklist
Here are the visual checklist of the case assortments from now to November 2012. Of these, ONLY CASE D has shipped and as of now it’s unknown if all the CASE D shipment cards are all labeled as “ONLY AT WALMART” even though they are available to order/pre-order at Children’sToyCloset & Rob’s Palace of Disney CARS.
Giant numbers indicate quantity in that case …

Autonaut Lightning, Burnt Autonaut Lightning, Lightning McQueen Hawk, Mater Hawk & Rescue Squad Chopper (names unofficial for the unreleased ones).
Autonaut Mater, NASCA Truck, & Falcon Hawk 1 (names confirmed). All cards in this assortment stickered with an ONLY AT WALMART sticker snipe?

Found case D at several Target stores in the Portland / Salem Oregon area. The store I bought mine at had removed the Walmart sticker from each packet, but I saw them at three stores that had not.
Like the cases (well some more than others) cool..
What about the other prop planes? The instructor or his assitant?

The Aviator Mater – the cardback has New on it and does not have a Walmart only sticker. Ebay listings.
I have been looking forward to this diecast ever since the unveiling drawing of Aviator Mater were shown during the Pixar Canada dedication.
Mattel had done a faithful casting of this character.
(MET: I suspect only the case D CARS have the stickers. the NASCA Truck & Falcon Hawk 1 are not available in other cases so perhaps they were supposed to be exclusives – the Autonaut Mater might be the original mistake … then for some reason, WM did not want them or probably more likely did not want enough of them, Mattel offered them to resellers also … it does seem unlikely the contents of case D will show up at TRU & Target. 🙂 ).
They are pretty good until case f, three that would have been realeased by then.
Mattel is doing a good job with the Take Flight items… hopefully stores do a better job of stocking this line than they did with Cars2 merchandise… On August 12 I stopped at a TRU in Indianapolis… they had 10 full cases worth of Take Flight case A on the pegs.
Maybe Mattel does care just a little.
