Mattel Disney Pixar CARS 2 Diecast: Next CARS Take Flight Case B
CARS Take Flight CASE B (only Deluxe Oversized CARS in this series) are arriving in the warehouse this week.
Autonaut McQueen is already out but Lightning McQueen Hawk & Mater Plane are new (Mater Plane as its release name is unofficial). There are two of each in the case.
It’s looking pretty good that the main wing is all diecast metal but probably the back stabilizer and tail are plastic. His helmet area is probably plastic along with his face.
It’s safe to say that this is one of the coolest CARS ever let along one of the coolest Mater’s … I’m guessing the add-on wings to regular Mater are mostly plastic but whether the wing is plastic or metal hardly maters in this case. It looks pretty sweet.

I wish I could Find them in Germany at all, even if they were $10. But TRU here just told me they will not get any of those new toons cause the first Cars toons did not sell.
I posted Cases C-F in General “Case Assortments” in the forum.
I just went to the Childrens Toy Closets websiste and found Take flight series case which includes 2 Jet Maters, 2 Falcon Hawks, and 2 Nasca trucks. The selling price of the case is $42.00. Everyone should check these out, they are pretty cool. I didn’t look too closely, but I don’t know if the jets mater is different then the first release.

My Target already got the first case and is already sold out. Can’t wait till these hit the pegs.
On an off topic, they should cancelled Cars II line and just transfer everything to this line since you don’t have 100+ Finns on the pegs. This will surely move new product for sure. By the way, when are we getting Flying-submarine Finn? Should be exactly the same as the Cars II deluxe 😀 Just Kidding guys… seriously Mattel.. DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT 😀

These look cool, and they are a deal, comparatively, at $6!
First impression is Mater looks like Snoopy as the WW 1 Flying Ace.
His wings resemble Snoopy’s ears in flying mode.
The toon designs have all been special.

I am really hoping to get at least one of these cars for my my boys. Unfortunately they never have new things at the two wal-marts that are the closest to me. I just don’t want to have to pay a jacked price for them on ebay 🙁
That price would be a bargain in the UK! If we even seen them.
I hope Target gets these soon. My TRU raised the price up to $6.99 and now they are shelfwarming.
