CTC found some stashed away in a warehouse so if you missed out … CTC is currently selling them by the case with 2 Macks (plus 2 of each of these haulers) or in a 3-pack with Mack but if you only want these two, email him with a special request.

BTW, there was a listing recently that the Walmart Hauler & Mack might return to WM but it NO LONGER listed so unless it comes back in the next few month’s listings for 2013, if you want a case with Mack, this might be your only chance in 2012.

The team haulers were the prime example of Disney & Mattel pulling the plug on Cars (1).
I give everyone credit for being able to stay enthused about Cars 2 merchandise.
We’ve got Walmarts with 3 dozen or more Finns on the pegs(nothing else up there), even after the extreme price drop they ran not too long ago.
Cars was a great deal of fun, Cars 2………not so much. 🙁
As BMW said Vinyl and Shifty were shelfwarmers in the UK for months, BUT! we never got Chet or Oliver and the other last hauler whose name i forget.

Now if only Mattel will release the haulers that are shown on the back of some of the most recent ones.
Kohl’s was the only place that I found Vinyl Toupee and Shifty Drug Haulers… their distribution was strange, though… they tended to split up cases when they sent them out… I found 5 Vinyl Toupee and 0 Shifty Drug at one Kohl’s… and another one had 0 Vinyl Toupee and 8 Shifty Drug.
Haulers tended to be a Cars item that I always bought whenever I saw them… never knew when or if they’d turn up again… I had a complete second set that I hadn’t opened but then decided I didn’t need them… a few months ago I thought custom haulers to finish the Piston Cup teams would be nice… but I didn’t have but 3 or 4 left.
Wouldn’t it be nice if Toys R Us releasing the Shiny Wax Racer in the Radiator Springs Classics series is a precursor to the Shiny Wax Hauler?

This week and I did check before posting that I saw Paul Valdez abd Chet Boxkaar offered at Amazon for #12.99 or so. There were other haulers also available. PV and Chet seemed to be offered by Amazon and not an affiliate? You may want to check.
What you are seeing is an individual seller on amazon that has amazon fulfill the orders for them.
I have the same feature with some of my products that i sell through amazon.

There were hundreds of Walmart haulers sitting for months at the Mattel outlet store. Maybe the listing was for the Walmart exclusive Mack auto transport hauler? (It talked when you pushed down on the cab roof/hat; about $20.)

I wish you found a case with Vinyl Toupee hauler in it, the only one we’re missing!
The UK and Canada got the Vinyl Toupee Haulers by the truckloads.
I bought one from a UK collector recently, since I sold one of my USA ones to someone, then regretted it. Its my favorite of the haulers.
Kohls had them at one time dozens of VT, I hesitated as the price was 18.99, and when I went back they were all sold out.
I only ever found 1 Shifty Drug hauler and I found it at Kohl’s, never found Vinyl Toupee. None of the stores around me at the time appeared to get that case. I seem to remember SD was 2 to a case but VT was 1 to a case.
VT hauler is on my short list of Cars we don’t have from the first movie: VT hauler, Brian Park Motors, Chase Guido/Luigi w/rollers & tray and Chuck “Choke” Cables. Stu Bop used to be on that list but thankfully I recently found the Cars Take Flight version.
