New Server Finally Up and Running
NOM, NOM, NOM….nom.
Well, we think the squirrels have finally stopped gnawing on the cables and have returned our website back to normal.
If you were some of the readers and visitors seeing 500 internal server errors, the short answer is the migration our host completed for us was borked. It took some time to figure out just what went wrong and it was their error but it was mostly up to us to figure that out and communicate that fact back to them.
The good news is that the forums and the other elements all appear to be running nominally again.
I am looking forward to less stressful sleep tonight…thank you for the emails and notes about what you were seeing out there in viewing universe. It helps to know what you are experiencing!

When I couldn’t get on yesterday I wandered over to that “other” site and made a post on there. It just didn’t feel right, so I’m glad everything is back to normal. Hopefully that squirrel and his laptop are back on top of Texas Tea and will no longer be meddling with the servers.

Corrections to rifts in the space time continuum as well as other spacial and temporal anomalies which can threaten the existence of mankind have been remedied. The universe is once again complete, including (for better or worse) squirrels !

Sadly, I have not been posting regularly for the past few years. If I update it’s usually about holding off a borg or squirrel attack on our server. I am trying to fit more time in my sked to post again as I miss it.
I was beginning to have a withdrawal yesterday so I’m glad T5 is back up. 🙂 Thanks Tizmanian and Metroxing for all the work you do to keep such a fantastic site up and running!
