Mattel Disney Pixar CARS 2 Diecast: Singles CASE H & “Altered Twin”
As noted previously, the cases with an Ultimate Chase have an “altered twin” offering without the Ultimate Chase …
Kind of like the movie “Twins.”
Strange but at least, it’s comic relief unlike this scary twin film.
Here is the content for CASE H.
Its twin is CASE V – as in Victor. Instead of Long Ge, the China racer – you get an a 4th Francesco Bernoulli. So, on a hundred-degree days, would you prefer a Hawaiian Shaved Ice or would you prefer a cone of melted sugar water?
So, if you need a 4th Francesco and you hate the concept of an Ultimate CHASE, then ask for it by name, CASE V – at your favorite reseller (our favorites are Children’sToyCloset & Rob’s Palace of Disney CARS. 🙂 ). They can special order it for you. I’m going to go on a limb and say that most independent resellers will not be buying any of the CASE V unless you pre-pay for it first. 🙂
In case you’re wondering why ULTIMATE CHASE cases have an altered “twin,” you can read this post.
Finally gave up with Case D and won Vladimir and Victor off eBay.
And with Case H basically doubled, Prince Wheeliam is at 8,000 in total… still weak but it’s still dencent. And thinking of Bindo, there’ll be 1,600 out there… and then there’s still all of 2013 to release those two again so my estimate is Prince Wheeliam reaching @ 16,000 and Bindo reaching @ 40,000, making Bindo a lot more easy to find.
And is it just me or does it seem like Piston Cup LM and Francesco will be the new pegwarmers?
Roughly calculating:
I estimate there are/were areound 450K Mcqueens in cases D through Y if Mattel distributes 4k of the Ultimate chase cases and 16 K of the altered twin cases. and 20 K of the other cases.
Just a guess, but thats a lot of Mcqueens. 🙂
More Francesco’s please!!
Just when we think that Mattel might be fixing case assortments with cases E and G, here comes the announced line up for cases H and V… I still hope that the actual case H assortment won’t match this announced assortment, but I’m less optimistic that it’s going to change.
This pretty much destroys any chance of finding an Ultimate Chase at retail. Kind of a bummer. Found Becky, Don, and Murakarmi at TRU yesterday but no Flash of course. Oh well, at least those race cars were not in the version of the movie we have so BobbyJack and his sisters won’t miss the fact that we don’t have them.
