Mattel Disney Pixar CARS: Micro Drifter Singles Packaging First Look
Here’s what the Micro Drifters single package looks like – quite nice and cute. The “try me” feature is nice … dad will be entertained for hours. 🙂
Yep, they still think Spare Mint is Irish … I do not have these in hand but I believe the Micro Drifter CARS are pretty much ACTUAL SIZE as photoed above.

Super cool, I will be playing with these in the store before I buy them. The Try Me feature will make them a hot item with kids at the store who can’t keep their hands off things. I think this line will sell like hotcakes!
One more time Mattel: Tach-O-Mint is to Tachometer, as Sparemint is to Spearmint. There is no such thing as a “tachmeter” and there is no such thing as a “spear o mint”!!
I wonder what the size is in comparison to the Mini Adventures Cars? I held my Mini Adventures Octane Gain up to the one on my screen – it appears to be about 1/2 inch longer than what I see on the screen.
If the size is the same I’ll add the packs that feature Piston Cup Racers that were not made in the Mini Adventures series… otherwise, I’ll wait for new diecasts.
These are smaller than the MA Cars. There is a YouTube video that shows how they work, gives you an idea of the size. After seeing the video I thought they were more interesting and look like fun.
Thanks for the tip…these looked like the F-P Wheelies to me and I was uninterested, but after seeing that video and learning they end up facing forward I’m more intrigued…still, the big find will be the Colossus!!

These look more interesting that I first thought. Might not “collect them all”, but the race track looks fun. And a mack case for the ones we get. And it’ll be nice to actually buy a Cars item at retail!
