Old Mobile Me Users Get a Free Copy of Mac OSX Snow Leopard
Apple really, really wants you to upgrade to Mac OSX Lion to access iCloud* – to get to Lion, you must be on Snow Leopard so Apple is willing to send all “old” MobileMe users a copy of Snow Leopard FREE …
Just go HERE – you have until June.
Since we’re on the topic of technology, can anyone tell me how to convert a Quicktime video to Windows Media. I used to be able to do that with Real Player, but now it says something like “File Parsing Error, codecs needed are not found”. Do I need to pay to upgrade to Real Player 15 or whatever it’s called?
(MET: You want AVI or WMV? If it’s AVI, you should be able to use a free online converter like Zamar unless it’s a full length movie, then you probably want to spring for converter software. Though try downloading VLC first – they have a free exporter built in also …).
I shot some video on our camera, but it comes out as a Quick Time file. I’m trying to convert to WMV.
Can you forward on linky 😉
(MET: The link above works …).
Hmmm… very interesting…
