We bought both of these tonight at the Disney Store they look great. The detail on Mater is amazing!

I guess actual new Mattel releases are just too much to ask at this point, if they never release another Mater or Francesco I would be ok with that. Not that these look bad but some new cars are what we really need.
I collect the Disney diecasts so this is great news for me!

Great news! However, the 2nd picture looks like a funny car mater (drag star mater) with a McQueen paint job!
better than the awful brown that the DS mater is painted…
