Mattel Disney Pixar CARS 2: Micro Drifters Walmart Exclusive Singles
It looks like the Micro Drifters are going to be the new secondary line now that none of the other ones are making it sales-wise … in addition to 3-packs, Colossus XXL “playset,” Mack Carrying case & Tokyo trackset, there are also Walmart ONLY exclusive singles coming.
Most of these will be available in 3-packs – will the singles be repeats? Will they bother to create variants? The space is only about an inch … will they be blind bags? Like the Star Wars Fight Pod singles?

Are the Action Agents going away? Seemed that they were selling OK.
They did terrible over here. Either that or my Wal-Mart here ordered way too much and only an eighth of it sold. The only thing Action Agent that did well was the Tony Trihull ship since we don’t have a Disney Store close by.
After Christmas Tony Trihull went down to $9 at Kmart so we ended up with two. Then since we had the cars that came with them we began adding more. Since there have been no die casts to buy we eventually bought ALL the Action Agents. I think that was Mattel’s evil plan all along… 😉
Best thing about Action Agents is they give my boys Cars they can crash and abuse leaving the diecasts in much better shape.
I might buy Colossus… possibly Clutch Aid if they’re the same size as the Mini Adventures Piston Cup racers… if only Mattel would finish product lines they start… failure to do so is not neat…
