James Cameron Dives to Earth’s Deepest Spot: Desolate & Foreboding
You can read the rest at the Orlando Sentinel … James Cameron dove almost 37,000 feet and it holds mysteries only the sea will tell …
The Mariana Trench is like no place on Earth but in some ways, it is …
He could have seen the same thing at Walmart without paying for the submarine!
LOL at the pic!
I am so jealous of James Cameron.
So that’s where some of those extra Finns are going! A good start?
Or is this related to a different occupation specific joke?
I immediately LOL’d when I saw the bottom the the pic. Too funny!
My old squadron used sonar and laser to search for mines.
We found all kinds of things on the bottom of the ocean.
Cars, shipping containers, shipwrecks, chemical containers, etc.
The most interesting things we found were the wreckage and black box of TWA 800. Also, an 8-foot long starfish off the coast of Hawaii.
I can only imagine the junk that has been thrown down there in the Trench.
Hilarious photo!!
I sometimes think that James Cameron is this era’s Howard Hughes.
