Interesting in terms of movie possibilities – it’s actually pretty narrow since there are 2 Batman’s, 2 Green Lantern’s, 2 Flash’s and 3 Robin’s on this list plus Lex Luther, the Joker and Batgirl are not really stand alone movie characters. And Flash & Green Arrow don’t really lend themselves to a lot of stories … it’s no wonder WB was so eager to launch Green Lantern since there’s not much else left …
Marvel’s Top 30 goes deeper plus with team-ups like the X-Men and Avengers, you don’t really need a full story from each character while Dc’s disadvantage with Justice League is with Superman, why do you really need anyone else (well, other than Batman to play the bad cop? Or when Kryptonite randomly appears).

Just one question..Is that Donald Duck???
That is Howard the Duck.
I can’t believe Wolverine is only #4 in Marvel. Guess that last movie knocked him down the list.
I can tell I didn’t follow these as closely as others… there are several that I’ve never heard of…
My son loves his superheroes!
