San Diego Comic Con 2012: First Steps …
Because of limited space at the San Diego Convention Center, we are required to limit attendance and do not have enough badges for everyone who would like to attend the show. Unfortunately, the high demand and limited availability can make buying a badge challenging and time-consuming. Although we are working hard on our registration system to make buying your badge a better experience, we want you to know what to expect during badge sales and have provided you with a very detailed document “Comic-Con 2012 Helpful Hints and Tips for Online Badge Registration” available for download now HERE.
Reading this downloadable PDF may help you complete your badge purchase more efficiently and could give you an advantage over people who do not choose to read it.
So they sold out in about 1.45 hours. The link they wanted you to use in their email crashed out. A person needed to go to their site and then link over. A lot of people not happy about that. Luckily a friend of mine was already in the line early, so I got mine.
I already have my ticket for this upcoming year. I have received a link for the badge sales that goes live in a few hours
I hope it’s easier to get my Iron Maiden tix than SDCC
It’s all pretty ridiculous. If you want tickets, you have to enter the site at the announced time, sit in a “room” of up to 40,000 people, waiting for your turn to purchase tickets. They estimate it could take up to 6 hours.
