Death by Simpsons: 500 Episode Marathon
Looks like we missed out on an opportunity – Fox found 100 people who are going to try and watch all 500 episodes in a row or the words back to back repeated 499 times … at around 24-minutes an episode, that’s 200 straight hours … the winner gets $10,500 – the other 99, um, death by Simpson’s sleep deprivation?

Ouch…
I’m not sure I can watch anything for 200 minutes straight let alone 200 hours straight… not as young as I’d like to think I am.
500 episodes of any show is one heck of an accomplishment.
Sadly, they lost me years ago when they moved from Sunday to Thursday to compete with The Cosby Show. Even though they’re back on Sunday, I just don’t watch anymore.
Network TV shows are usually 22 minutes long not counting commercials, so this marathon will “only” last 183 hours, 20 minutes. When you consider an entire week is 168 hours, oh boy!!
