MPAA Chris Dodd Says – “We Paid For SOPA Votes, We Want a Yes Vote!”
Um, are you supposed to say that out loud?
Apparently he forgot the unwritten rules where you do NOT say out loud, “We bought you fair and square!”
D’uh. Even if everyone knows what the truth, you’re not supposed to say it out loud, right?
Dude, now no one is going to vote for SOPA or PIPA now – because anyone who runs against a PIPA/SOPA yes voter will simply say, “His/her vote can be bought.”
Remember, there’s the truth and the truth we speak out loud. 🙄
Okay, he may not have used those exact words but it’s not exactly subtle … “Those who count on quote ‘Hollywood’ for support need to understand that this industry is watching very carefully who’s going to stand up for them when their job is at stake,” Dodd told Fox News. “Don’t ask me to write a check for you when you think your job is at risk and then don’t pay any attention to me when my job is at stake.”
The comments caused a huge stir, and prompted a petition, hosted on the White House’s “We the People” opinion-seeking site, that calls for an investigation of the MPAA on bribery charges.

“Don’t ask me to write a check for you when you think your job is at risk and then don’t pay any attention to me when my job is at stake.”
That statement really cuts to the point.
This FILTHY lobbyist Dodd is the epitome of what is wrong with our pay to play government.
And to think, he is drawing a very generous lifetime pension and benefits that WE pay for, not his Hollywood puppet masters.
Some politicians and former politicians just don’t get it… this is one of them…
Politicians are supposed to represent their constituents… not big money lobbyists.
Don’t go away mad, just go away…
