Fun Look Back at the History of Hot Wheels
I don’t know if this line will make it …
No point in opening these …
🙂
You can check the first Color hangers (1988) … and more at ColourLovers.

I didn’t start collecting them until 2003. All because of the red Custom ’69 Chevy Pickup.(I have a full-size ’69 Chevy pickup) I have 16 color variations of the Hot Wheels ’69 now. There’s 17, but I haven’t been able to find the newest release yet; in the Garage Series.
I have about half of these.
My favorites as a kid were the Firebird and the Deora.
My brother had some of these, so classic! I love those early wheels. Do kids still “stunt ’em”?
Hot Wheels? What are Hot Wheels? They don’t have eyes or mouths… they’ll never be successful.
I joined the Hot Wheels RLC a few years ago so I could have the chance to get a Speedway of the South set… I still have the car that came with my RLC membership… and I bought my first ever treasure hunt in a Kmart store over the weekend.
Mattel needs to realize that Cars are not Hot Wheels and that Cars collectors need to be treated differently than Hot Wheels collectors.
For sure!
I don’t think these things will catch on…
Really Neat!!!
