Fish Gotta Swim, And We Have to Eat Some Tasty Salmon
Nice time lapse video of dismantling the 125-foot high Condit Dam in southeastern Washington State which held back the White Salmon River, creating a serene lake, but choking off the waterway to salmon.
And by dismantling – they mean when you attach dynamite with blasting caps and press the Wile E Coyote lever, BOOOOMMMMM.
Now, let’s eat them tasty salmon! Oh, I have to wait 3 years?
There is no embed feature so you have to go to the Nat Geo site – be sure and select FULLSCREEN and check out the view from the other side – doesn’t look that impressive until you see the real people walking about to get the full scale. Though if you look closely at this photo, that white thing above is a car.
I like how they call it a historic dam. Yep, it’s history alright.
Any other LOST fans watch the video, and think it looked like the smoke monster being released?
mmmm.. smoked salmon.
“Wile E Coyote lever”
That had me laughing so hard I almost dropped my iPhone in the bowl!
Neat.
