The Kmart CARS Day #8 (June 2012) will feature “Double Ransburg Zamak Paint” World Cup racers … unclear if they will be rubber tires but these prototypes look nice … these prototypes look like rubber tires … for what that’s worth. Or not – as apparently Kmart is claiming that Mattel has not been given the go ahead and Mattel say, “ya huh.” So, who will win this ****ing contest?
So, maybe all we ever get are these nice photos …

This is clearly the topper of all the bad Mattel ideas concerning
CARS 1 & 2. CARS KMART DAY used to be so much fun. No longer.
Mattel should have some Carla + chief packs on that day too.

And I can’t believe I’m saying this… these new Kmart 8 Cars are starting to grow on me… I’d still like and prefer new castings… but these newer photos are making a difference to me.

There are hundreds of cars in both movies that have not been made yet. Some of those cars should be released instead of new versions of cars we already have and did not appear in that form in the movie.

I think the pictures might just be enough!! What’s this “Double Ransburg Zamac” mean anyway?? “Ransburg” is a paint process and a Zamac (Zinc, Aluminum, Magnesium, And Copper) is a car with NO paint, just clear coat over a unpainted car!
Absolutely agree. Mattel’s marketing suits don’t even know enough to get it right.
You know, Shu Todoroki is white, so doesn’t that actually just make him Metallic? Because shiny white is silver, like shiny red is Ruby (McQueen), or shiny green is Emerald (Gearsley), or shiny yellow is Gold (Gorvette). Mattel could easily release him, and then 2 weeks later release the same exact Metallic Shu as Toys r Us Exclusive Metallic Paint.

We bought a Cars 2 poster that has Rip Clutchgoneski on it, maybe that will be worth something someday!
They’re cool yet its so obvious how much Zamack sounds just like Gimmick.

I will buy a whole case if it were to contain many of Otis the friendly lemon, and many of Rip Clutchesgonski, but will pass 100% on these fantasy paint-job cars. So, thanks to Mattel for helping me save money. On the other hand, just print these, cut them out, and tape them on the regular cars for instant fun!
Shiny silver is nice. But I think all their usual bright colors would attract the kids to the Cars a lot better.
Maybe next event they will be Gold.
Just dont like them.
