We are starting to separate orders now, and we were wondering if you guys want us to open every sealed box of D23 Finn (the brown box)?
To see if everything is fine inside, I mean no missing wheels or something like that.

I learned recently that a lot more effort (and expense) goes into picking up exclusives at these events than I ever could have imagined. I also discovered the true sense of community that can be possible within a relatively small online network of collectors from different parts of the country – and of the world. But then today I was lucky enough to experience it first hand.Â

Yea, it is funny to think back to just a week or two ago! There’s definitely NO DOUBT the prices of the items are well worth it given all that is invested by those actually getting them. I am thankful to have learned that, albeit the hard way, and even more thankful to have still been welcomed into the group. I am already looking forward to next year’s ComicCon as I don’t even have one single solitary SDCC exclusive from any of the prior years! Now I will actually be able to get them, thanks to the selflessness of you and other T5 members!

We got every order paid fullfilled so far,so please give us a little more time to sort this out, because we are exhausted. It will be like “first come first serve”, so be patience please.
One good thing was that there was a booth from the Postal Service at the expo, and we talked to the guys there and they cordially gave us boxes, so we got a perfect size box for the McQueens (one less thing to worry about)

I for one, Thank you both. It is appreciated.
I think Mariela and Pablo did terrific job. I know for fact they had to stand in very long lines sometimes more than once, 2ce or Trice. I know that some exclusive had limits per person. I know they had to stand 6 to 8 hours a day to get all the cars and other exclusive that our members needed and had to watch their child at the same time, and handle thousand messages, texts, phone calls.
I think their efforts should be appreciated by all of us.

So what is the scale of this Car?
1:18? Thats what the ebay auctions are stating.
Looks like the same size as My Mattycollector McQueen, however I have the D 23 buyers looking at their boxes now.

Wow was I wrong, this thing is 5 1/2 inch wheel base….
I would guess it is 1:18th ish

1:55 McQueen measures 1.625 inches center to center, meaning the 1:1 lifesize one would be 89.375 inches center to center. So 5.25 inches on the D23 model puts it at 1:17 scale. It would be 1:18 scale if the measurement from center to center was a hair under 5 inches.

Did anybody figure out if the box set john lassitire is an exclusive or is it the same as the 2 pack?
I think the John Lassitire is what comes with the Director’s 8 pack. Don’t know what comes the regular BluRay standard release.
