The Stow ‘N Go Carrying case-Quasi Playset is TINY … there’s 1:55 Mater on it …
Out of context pics make it look pretty large – it is fairly heavy but at $44+, I can’t imagine there will be much of a run on these …
It’s $53 at KM but Amazon has it for $43.99.
And equally tiny but a better pic now that the store stopped moving …
Also much smaller than I thought – better priced at $22.99 and carries 25 CARS.
Some people have asked about the “Make a Face” CARS … you can also make a face. 🙂
Not too exciting for most collectors but kids might like them.

Picked up the carrying case from our local ASDA in the UK where they also had the Changing Eyes cars. The case is sturdy, holds about 25 cars (depending if you count Luigi / Guido / Uncle Topolino and Prof Z)….
The track is great and its a perfect solution if your little one has to go away from home somewhere but cant leave his Cars!
Carla Fan looks nice… but pass if it comes as the scheduled 4 pack with the Cars mentioned in it. But if “Life Support” Rod comes as a Single or 2 pack I might consider buying that.

In what format is the Carla fan coming out in? I would assume some kind of 4 or 5 pack?
There was an older post with forthcoming Target 4-packs, one of which included Carla’s fan. Her name is “Denise Beam.”
ooooo, Carla’s fan is nice – I like. Probably won’t be getting Torture Victim Rod Torque Flatline though. Oh well, “collect some of them all!”
I saw the playset last weekend for $52.99 plus tax… way too expensive at that price…
I think the “Life Support Rod” is an awesome Car… I’m sure most of us have had real automobiles that we eventually had to say goodbye to… I know I don’t have photos of some of my earlier cars that I had to say goodbye to…
And it’s just a cartoon… with cartoonish violence.

Cant imagine why the playset would say HUGE (2 level playset)
(MET: If you are three years, it is about 3/4 your size plus it weighs about 20 lbs 🙂 ).
This will be the first Cars diecast I will not buy, if the final product looks like the picture.
Got to admit, Rod is a work of art, as the eyes evoke strong emotions and this version will sell well, but how many collectors and parents want this dying car in their collection?
Its just too sad for me.
By contrast, Race Damaged Mood Springs which makes me laugh out loud.
I’m still waiting for the Martin Riggs electrocution action figure from “Lethal Weapon 2”.
Yeah, I think he got shot down pre-production along with all the Saw victim figures… shucks
