Neat! 🙂 although I’m a little more excited for the Pope and Queen than the Pitty, but I might reconsider if it comes with another one in it as well, maybe with a different paintjob, like a maroon, or a little bit darker yellow. But if not, I will buy anyways!

OK…I’m sort of new at this, so I have a couple of questions that have been perplexing me:
1. Do we just not know when newly-shown vehicles are coming out? There seems to be an understanding that everything is “coming,” but no more info than that, and everyone seems to accept the lack of further information.
2. If a new vehicle was not shown at SDCC, but its “glamour shot” is released before another that WAS shown at SDCC as a finished vehicle or prototype (for instance, Big Pitty and Leland Turbo were not there), does that mean it still might come out before the cars that WERE shown? I would have thought “no prototype” means we’ll have a longer wait, yet it seems Leland and Big Pitty might be coming soon. (The Leland shot looks really rough and computer-generated, especially the headlights and grill).
(MET: If I know or have an idea when it’s scheduled, I will say so – all I can tell you is most likely September 2011 and going forward … no, photos or CAR released do not go in any corresponding order … sometimes the CAR comes out before anyone even sees any photos – other times, it’s in order … but we can presume that anything on the poster should arrive before any “new” photos you see …).

Thanks Met! I didn’t mean to suggest that you withhold info ;^) I just wanted to know if I was missing something. So if Leland’s on the SDCC pamphlet but not in the display, he may still be imminent. It’s very helpful to know that sometimes cars “appear” that we haven’t seen teased other ways…in other ways, things can get pretty random. Thanks again!
At the 2010 SDCC, they showed a yellow truck- the same body as Dexter Hoover- that appeared next to Wilmar Flattz in the short sequence he was in in Cars 1, but never got released. So maybe, just maybe, there’s a 0.05% chance that one of the Cars shown at the SDCC won’t be released, although since it’s a new movie, there’s a good chance it will be released. Just wanted to tell you that so nobody gets all antsy for some new Cars shown there, like this green car there who I barely remember was in the movie at all.
But the green car is a must! joking. Speaking of green… we saw pics of the Shiny Wax hauler long ago, but that never ever came out.
Love that henchman… Does that mean they will come out with a 2-pack of his cousin and the mob guy who breaks Mater’s headlight in the black and white Mater P.I.???!!!!!

Unfortunately Mattel’s current idea of a pitty pack is likely Finn, Grem, Acer, Prof Z, and one Pitty.
