Great job John. My son has made a “crashed” version of quite a few of his earlier Cars. We have Crashed Mia’s and Tia’s, Crashed McQueen’s, etc. Interestingly enough, he just can’t really damage his Mater’s. They’re crash proof 😉
I still can’t believe Mattel never made Crashed FHH or a number of other ‘no-brainers’ like White Flag Dexter Hoover. Seriously, how can a company come out with a Final Lap collection, include a Checkered Flag Dexter, and completely ignore making Dexter with a FINAL LAP flag? Arrrrgh!
Once Cars 2 has made their run over the next couple of years, I would love to see them come back to Cars 1 and put out the cars that people have been waiting for. Let’s start with Tach-O-Mint, eh?
…AND, the Final Lap logo was Dexter Hoover WITH A WHITE FLAG!!!!! 🙁
john in mo. it’s seems your on top of most cars from cars 1. what do you suggest i do the collect each & every one exceptt hose with minor versions.

It’s just so sad you had to make your own even though we were promised this one by Mattel. Oh Cars 1 releases we never got. Where are thou? Will we see you again or are we stuck with Cars 2 cars for now and forever? Please come back. We neeeeeeeeeeeeeed the Classic line. At least give us what we were promised and we will call it even.
I too may have take out some frustration toward Mattel and take a hammer to a car or two. Might have to beat an extra No Stall and Leakless together too. Another promised release we didn’t get.
Im 100% with you on that Jack. Lets get the Cars 1 line going again and
give us some of those Cars you made us believe were coming Mattel. How about continuing the Cars Toons series with Mater Private Eye and Moon

Yes I would lI’ve to see more Toons releases also. I really like the Toons line. I prefer those to Cars 2 also. I am almost positive Met said the Toons were returning sometime down the line. Hopefully before Christmas. The Mater PI release would be awesome. We were promised more Toons also so we will see.
And Mattel please here us. Release the classic line and makes us old time collectors happy. These henchman and gadget cars aren’t going to keep us fulfilled.

Holy shoot! Very well done, john. Speaking of toy story, it also reminds me of sid from TS1 (Except you were doing it for good, not evil.) And on that note, a little trivia that sid is the garbage man in TS3 (or seems to be since they wear the same shirt.)

Sorry, but I “customized” this for my kids about 4 years ago. We were recently going through their loose Cars and rediscovered this gem from our past. The “flat” front tire on the driver’s side was accidental, but I feel like a genius now for doing that. 🙂
I feel a lot better now, thanks! I am still waiting for my kids to start making customs like these.
Seriously, you like lenticulars? They suck. I hope when we do get this (If we ever do.) it isn’t lenticular. I also hope we see non lenticulars of all lenticular chase cars. They were a huge mistake, and we’d have lots more FL out if it wasn’t for them.
