Disney Pixar CARS: The Ultimate Radiator Springs Display
Cristo sends along amazing dioramas and lifelike displays created by Sam Bricole and presented at the Paris Comic Con 2011 recently.
You can check out the rest of the photos at Cristo’s FLIKR page HERE of the Comic Con.
My personal favorite … 🙂
Great job Sam – and thanks for the heads up Cristo!
No matter how many times I see this (and others like it) I’m still amazed
Amazing! Jealousy setting in about … now
where did you find the gangster hat??
Gangster hat was handmade by the custom builder.
AMAZING!!! What a great work! Wish I could do some custom cars and landmarks.
IN LOVE.
If I were a HTB pitty, my mustache would fall of right about now.
WOW! That is amazing work! Thank you so much for sharing! I think you need to be hired on the design team over at Mattel!! 😀
These are awesome! Thanks for sharing with us!
Jurassic Cars. Awesome.
I always loved doing dioramas for school projects growing up. Unfortunately I never had the skills to make them look great, but seeing these is inspiring me to get my son into doing dioramas — it’s at least another way to play with his cars. 😎
Was this for a 6th grade project?
No, not at all. It was a project for the pleasure of sharing our love of the world of Pixar Cars and its characters, through dioramas and Mattel diecast Cars.
Pure amateur plans and work.
A new plan is growing up for the Paris Comic Con 2012.
Great mature answer to an immature question!
Ha ha. And a great followup Mr. John.
Yes!!! Well said..
I love it! Good job TeddyBear…awesome display! 🙂
Nice job. “Comic Con” ? I would guess the east coast one?
Comic Con 2011 in Paris, France, June 30 to July 3.
Really nicely done. Beautiful work! Wish I had this type of artistic talent. I always wanted to make some other shops and buildings to enhance our display like Sagres surplus hut, Cozy cone hotel etc. But unfortunately I just wasn’t born with this type of artistic talent. I am always impessed by those that were.
Absolutely incredible!
We are very proud to see our work published here, thanks to Cristo.
The Comic Con visitors were very surprised and happy to see Radiator Springs and its heroes.
We have to thank again Catartes and Carfan, the authors of the custom Cars invited in the show.
Thanks for compliments.
Sam and TeddyBear
Brings me right back to the scenes in Cars 1. Again must say you guys really did it. The customs are some of the best ever.
Is the PI Mater a custom or a NEW European release??
BTW…AWESOME job sir!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PI Mater is a custom, unfortunately no release here yet…
Yeah, I even know who made it… 🙂
Love Love Love it!
I really enjoy admiring how much talent and time is invested in creating these displays. I have looked at some on the other Cars sites, and know my kids would want to play with the creation, not just look at it. So right now I have to stick to the plastic storebought playsets they can demolish and can set back up again with minimal effort! So right now, online pictures are the only way I can enjoy these works of art.
TOTALLY NEAT!!!
