I THINK THEY ARE WELL WORTH THE MONEY AND ARE PRETTY MUCH IN SCALE WITH THE MATTEL CARS ALSO THE QUEEN CAR IS VERY CLOSE
I’m hoping someone can answer a couple of questions about the Disney store Cars 2 offerings. We saw them in the store but did not have any Mattel cars along to compare.
1) In the Save the Queen set, the Queen looks a lot smaller than the other three cars, does anyone have a feeling for how she’d fit in with a 1:55 Mattel collection? (size-wise)
2) There’s a large set of about ten cars, includes flying Holley Shiftwell on a clear blue plastic riser and Pacer with the TV camera from the movie. (apparently not on the Disney website) Each car is plastic with some pretty bad mold lines visible on some roofs and each is molded into a plastic road base. These seem to be about 1:55, does anyone know? And has anyone tried to saw them loose from the plastic base; did it turn out decently?
