I have 3, 2 down, 1 up. The 2 down I know were from Family dollar and both have early date stamps from late 2010. The other I don’t know where I bought it but it was recently and it has the up and later date stamps.
I have some from Family Dollar and some from Walmart but I can’t remember which is which; ALL are on regular long cards with the die-cut hanger, not the oddball no-hole cards:

I forgot to check out our swirls when I got home from work yesterday.
The swirls on mine go down, which matches the pair on Carla’s nose.
So would that make 1 worth more then the other?

The swirl down seems to be the one that appears less at least in the North East , 3 out of 10 that I have are swirl down. The factory/group Code stamp on 2 of them are 01111EAA and the other is 0131EAA – These are all on the die-cut hang tab Cards – I do not have any of the BJS plastic tab variant of Carla ….yet.
Oddly most of the pics of diecats Carla I have seen that are actually clear enough show swirl down design. Maybe the others were first run and it is now fixed.
Has anyone seen a screen shot showing which is correct and which is the error? Maybe when she got repaired after blowing up during the second race they put them back on the wrong way?

On the cars 2 shots where they show the 360 view of the characters, it appears they show Carla with those things pointing down… So I guess the one pointing up is the error..

I’m sure these are all hand-applied decals, and I hear everyone at the factory is blaming the “new guy” for messing this up.
