From what I have seen so far, too many imports and not enough Fords…
Brent Mustangberger is the first Ford that I can think of. You would think racing in Europe, they would at least show a few new Festivas.

All I have to say is that I may have to redo my finances so I can afford all the Cars 2 goodness coming our way.
I have a strange feeling that 20+ years from now Cars collectables will be a huge collectors market. Yet my collection will be with me until I die. 🙂

All the releases from Cars 1 and the Toons added together will pale in comparison to the amount of cars we are going to be offered from Cars 2. I think Mattel and Pixar had a nice brainstorming session to make each car on screen as individual as possible. And I will buy every single one of them!
It just proves, once again, that Disney and Mattel had NO IDEA what they had with Cars 1………it was always a “catch up to the demand we didn’t realize we’d have” with the first movie.
This time around, it’s ALL about merchandising.
Hmm. Francesco with a ‘Ciao, McQueen’ Bumper Sticker? Given that Mattel never gave us Chick Hicks with his ‘Thunder,’ I doubt we’ll get that Francesco variation.
Maybe they’ll give us a CHASE Francesco With Stickers (but really NOT with stickers).
