I got this McQueen today in Colorado Springs, CO and my son loves it.
After my trip to TRU today: it doesn’t look like anyone in NE will have the Ransburg McQueen on Monday based upon the inventory listed in the computer.
Nothing at the warehouse either.
I hope Monday doesn’t suck…
So no one knows I guess? Will these be a US offer also?
(MET: In the US, they will be available at TRU for $6.99 … looks like a different Ransburg-metallic racer about once a month).
I think the packaging could use some more stickers and “snipes”. I can clearly still see what car is in the package.
Whats the price at Toys R US for these?

in australia, these are priced double compare to single…so yes a price of a mega-size.. no more single price like the old “chase” series…
Here’s another PROMO.. once again .. this is just how Mattel will kill it in Canada .. WE NEVER HAD ANY AT ALL PROMO .. and of course they will do the same thing again with Cars 2 .. What a way to go Mattel !

2 new Cars have been Identified!! Cruz Besouro, Carla Veloso’s Crew Chief,and Giuseppe Motorosi, Francesco’s Crew Chief have been discovered, and Petrov Trunkov’s name seems to have been changed to Petrov Oilski. Is that true? Just making sure.
Also, what’s happened to me Cars Toys wise goes like this:
1. Found the 4 Final Laps last month, and Hooman was an Error for there was no Final Lap Collection Inscription written on the Cardback.
2. Waiting for Cars 2 Toys
3. STILL Waiting, with no luck at our Family Dollar
4. STILLLL Waiting, again with no luck at Kohls
5. STILLLLLL Waiting, even though Pit Crew Mater was found for $9.99 at my CVS. Epic Pass.
6. STILLLLLLLL Waiting, and nothing at Wal-Mart or K-Mart
7. STILLLLLLLLLL Waiting, with nothing at Shop-Ko or Dollar General
8. STILLLLLLLLLLLL Waiting, with no more luck at the same Family Dollar
9. Gave up wasting gas. I’ll just wait until MONDAY MONDAY MONDAY! (Or maybe TUESDAY TUESDAY TUESDAY, because that is when the Wal-Mart Truck arrives in my area.) SO NO LUCK IN WESTERN ILLINOIS. 🙁
I wondered about the Petrov Trunkov issue myself. Some sources now redirect Petrov Trunkov to Petrov Oilski, and there’s now a Vladimir Trunkov. Then there’s my Mattel 3-pack from Kohl’s, which contains a CAR identified on the back of the box as “A Trunkov.”
Anybody know the story behind the Trunkov and Oilski clans?
My only guess is that Petrov Trunkov’s name was a Typo. It maybe was supposed to be Petrov Oilski, but now we can’t be sure with just “A Trunkov” as the name. Could his first initial be the letter A?? Is there some significance behind the letter A to junker Cars? Why am I asking so many Questions?? And whatever happened to the disappearance of Brent Mustangburger on the Cars 2 Website? Or am I not looking at all and it is actually there? And why am I STILL asking Questions? 😛
Family Dollar here had 9 different Cars 2 available and 1 of the Wal-Marts in the area had some quite a bit of Cars 2 out as well… I went ahead and bought Carla Veloso, Finn McMissle, and Jeff Corvette from the singles… Race Team Mater and Zen Master Pitty for the doubles… and then also bought Double Decker Bus in the deluxe… not a bad start to my next collection I must say…
I must say I want to get them Ransburgs… pretty sweeeeet……
