Disney Pixar CARS 2: The El Capitan (Hollywood) Post Premiere Party
If you’re with the in-crowd, the Disney Pixar Hollywood Premiere is June 23, 2011 at the El Capitan theater in Hollywood – red carpet, celebs, John Lasseter, the whole bit … but if you’re not getting an invite to that … you can buy a ticket for THE NEXT DAY where they are leaving up the fun mini-carnival for all to see (and play).
And of course, there’s also a movie.
So if you want the full CARS 2 experience, get to LA that weekend. I’m not exactly sure how long it’ll stay up but call and ask even if you can’t make it the first weekend.
Also remember, there is a special Disney Store right next door (along with a diner) and they are certain to have a special pin to commemorate the CARS 2 opening or some special toy offering so check it out and let us know what’s there.

Aiden’s actual 6th birthday is on the 24th … So not only do we see the movie – but we have another Cars themed party ! I’m wondering if renting out the theater that day is an option…..lol

Me too… I’m also taking off May 16, 17, and 20 to do some Cars2 shopping… Yes, I am seriously OCD when it comes to Cars…
Oh yes a whole bunch of people are taking off the 24th. My oldest daughter is graduating from 5th grade in the morning,
(OMG I’ll have my first junior higher soon) then awholee group of us are going to see the premiere. Kmart day is supposed to be Saturday and then we will go see the movie again Sunday. It’s a total Cars weekend!
I bet we will see the movie Friday, go to K-Mart day on Saturday morning, and then see the movie again Saturday afternoon. Then if, and only if I can hold out from opening the Cars 2 cars we have, give him his first Cars 2 cars after seeing the movie. I doubt I can hold out that long though.
