Since they are back to a more logical rectangle shape, it looks like there are two of each in the first case.

I have almost all the Cars 1 cars, including the blu ray, toys-r-us and Kmarts and I saw all four of them in a Top-1 store nearby. Initially I was very pleased, but then I saw the quality.
They looked so very very very cheap that I left them in the store. The wheels, the paintjob and the body look like a 1 dollar car and not something worth spending 16.99 euro.
Hopefully this is only my opinion and everybody else likes them, but I will pass.
Shu Todoroki is also out as a launcher in the Netherlands.

When I read all this comments here , I am probably the first one who found this cars. I am glad and happy it is finally in Europe !

Awesome score KW! You should get an award for being the first known T5ADer to score Cars 2 cars. I bet the adrenaline started pumping when you saw them.
We have a Cars book copyright 2009 that has a German racecar named Otto who looks a lot like Max Schnell, it also has an unamed Car that looks like Tabinu and one that looks like Kyandee only it is pink and white. There is also a Swedish rally car named Gudmund.
(MET: Or as we called the post – CARS 2 Leak 🙂 ).
The pink one is Emma, the Tabinu-looking one is Kojimoto, and the red Farrari next to those is Giovanni, they were all in the video game Cars Maternational.
I still can’t get over the separate bumper piece. It makes it look so cheap!

I love the original style launchers, and these look sweet!!! I also like how it does give us hope of seeing more of the missing ones from Cars 1!!!
FINALLY ALL or most of the racers should be a different model!!! buying leak less tank coat and tach o mint with only the stickers and paint different was kind of a drag.
I loved them. Never bothered me. Thats Nascar.

Agreed as well. Chick, Tank Coat and that lot remind me of the old Skoal and Mountain Dew Buicks that Gant and DW drove. I used to run around the yard pretending I was driving the Mountain Dew Buick when I was a kid.
I say we start a betting pool- how many launchers will be released before Mattel changes the design, or stops making them altogether?

I am so looking forward to adding these to my collection… Singles and launchers both… I am definitely going to need a couple more Carney Plastics display cases… and a bigger room to put them in…

I’m lucky that all my in laws are in Holland. I already asked my wife’s cousin to check the local shops for the launchers.

So I guess for those of us wanting the remaining CARS 1 launchers, this is good news right? If they are making CARS2 launchers then the pieces are in place for CARS 1 to finish the remaining 19 (well 18 minus Apple) launchers!
Not including the Apple car, there are 16 Pit Row Launchers unreleased. 19 have been released.
