Poor Lightning, he helps launch a franchise and he’s now #3 in his own film series. 🙂

What’s even weirder is that Francesco Bernoulli is #4 in the series. Looks like he’s gonna have a lot of appearances in the movie.

I’d imagine the Clone troopers and storm troopers hold that record…
The two-piece front end of Finn is terrible. Old Corgi, Dinky, Solido toys did not do stuff like this…..
McQueen knows how it feels to be third… Isn’t the position he was at the end of CARS 1 ??? It is maybe the first tribute to the first movie, who knows?

Interesting that Finn’s front end is molded as a separate piece. Wonder if that is for future variants with missiles sticking out (or something). Of course this is purely an academic curiosity for me, since I will not be buying any of the CARS 2 (except the DS…)

Nice. Finn will be hard to say no to buying. Also, I like the look of that raised tail on McQueen.
I like the raised design too! However on Finn, the paint seems a bit off when it comes to the body and front bumper…..
I have one, and the color matches fine. (I didn’t make note of the separate front piece, but now that you mention it, it doesn’t fit perfectly.) The overall color is a little grayer than the screen cap, and one of the nicest features is how high up he sits on the underbody. Great car!
Not a lot of love for the “Cars 2” trailer out there, and it really wasn’t cut very well. Great car design and toy potential, but I hope the movie comes together better than the clip. (Also hope there’s not a lot of non-professional, “tribute” or “stunt” voice talent. That boat at the beginning of the trailer is awful.)
