Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: Barry Diesel, That’s About the Size of It
As some of you read in our earlier post, Barry Diesel will be available for sale next month.
Some of you seem confused or worried about the size of him … while I do not actually have one nor do I have a precise measurement of him but rest assured, he’s RV sized … or a close approximation to the original Toon Ambulance …
Maybe a skoosh less wide but a skoosh longer … but rest assured that Barry Diesel is “deluxe sized” and in scale to the 1:55 series.
As of now, there’s no more info than what was in the original post …
Isn’t it always the way? Toys are never as big as we imagine them.
I remember as a kid seeing Unicron in the Transformers Movie, and dreaming of going to Toys R Us and finding a Transformer as big as my 6-year-old self.
Too bad Mattel doesn’t have anyone insane enough to come up with a Speedway of the the South playset that would rival GI Joe’s USS Flagg playset in size and scope.
Thought these would be the size of the haulers (maybe not so long), with similar packaging…gonna be like Elvis, I guess.
Following the Haulers’ lead, it looks like Mattel is simply continuing its theme of small, small, small!
Wow, hes smaller than what i was picturing. i thought theyre bigger in the movie. if so, just like haulers. but looks very nice though, i hope it has lots of metal.
How do you get one? Do you need to register on Matty site or it will be available to everyone first come first served?
I WAS TOLD BY A FRIEND HE IS ABOUT THE SIZE OF THE TREV IN GEO TRACKS
awsome, I cannot wait !!
Thanks for the great news, Met! Can’t wait to get Barry!
