In a nice surprise, we not only get an extra an Luigi but also an extra paint can … bucket.
Not to be rude but shouldn’t the inside of the tray-pan be teal and not as much on the outside? Not that I’m not buying but just saying …
Hopefully we’ll still get the one last remaining once-upon-a-list Wrecked FHH.

(Artie being the only “new” lenticular besides the Guido with Paint Tray’s … Luigi’s accessory is new but he looks like the last lenticular Luigi release).

Found the case in the UK today, its the same as listed. 3 x Artie’s in the case.

I just HAD to post. I’m back from a buzy life emergency, and sorry for the joke, but this is outragous! Somebody stop these lentys. I’ll buy an extra Guido from Movie Doubles to fix these.

I would like to reminds all CARS collectors next January will be as dry as this January was and this will be applicable to the following years… so get use to it January is the month of “billing” not “buying”… Now we are February and this month looks already very promising… 🙂

I’m intrigued by the numbering as the highest numbered car so far is Mater with glow in the dark lamp which is 166 which means 167,168,169 and 170 are unallocated as new cars so there might be more cars coming?.. and we are still to have a cars allocated for 157,159,163,164.. Thats 8 unallocated cars then we have Wrecked Fabulous Doc Hudson was supposed to be 132 and not forgetting the cars that have never been released like 92 N20 Cola Pitty and 105 Mood Springs Pitty. Then you have a few that where allocated numbers but where released either in a multi pack or before the numbers stared like 76 Kori Turbowitz which has never had a single release with 76 actually printed on the card (good opportunity to sort the wing mirrors) Timothy Twostroke was allocated 78 but came out in the nine pack.
Does this really mean the end of Lenticulars? as the numbers say different.. unless Mattel are planning a switch back to classic eyes as main stream cars to match the new Cars 2 diecast.. I had a suspiction of this as Tesco in the UK changed the description on the sale tag from Disney Cars w/eyes to Disney Cars Diecast recently when the price changed last month.
Could Final Laps be going mainstream with at least 10 new cars or will there be one last card change before the Cars 2 bombardment??
(MET: Conveniently, there are definitely 8 more Final Lap CARS on what looks like the final shipping list … there are a few others besides the FHH that have appeared on a list here – I will summarize in a post next week).
Coriander Widetrack is #157, so you can scratch that one off the unknown list.

Taking another look at this, doesn’t it appear that Guido’s paint trays are just upside down in the packaging? I mean, the teal paint on the side (in this package) is running up, rather than down… We’ll find out in the un-packaged pics.
I think you’re right, Drew. It looks like the paint trays have been packaged upside down.
Ok, fair enough, what a bout the bucket? The handle is obviously upright, and bucket is still white inside. Or is it covered by a lid?
Who’s gonna be the first one to find a package with the tray upside up??? Reminds me Van with stickers without stickers… Why make it complicated when it is so easy to make it confusing… 🙂
Looks like white paint has dripped off the roller pans. But wondering why the rollers arent white?. Maybe he hasnt started yet?

Australia appears to get the US cardback Cars and not the International ones that are available in the UK.
