Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: Final Lap January 2011 Checklist & Next (FIX UPDATE)
Here’s the updated Final Lap checklist to reflect everything everything “NEW” released so far …
And the next four coming next month plus all the other un-numbered “classic” non-moving eye “NEW” CARS released so far …
UPDATE – Somehow the numbering didn’t sort correctly above but fixed.
The last block of CARS are on the Night skyline motif and not technically Final Lap but all released as non-lenticular CARS in box sets of some sort and NOT singles. Non USA releases are not listed such as the Nitroade Pitty Crew box set.
It appears that Timothy Twostroke does have a number though he hasn’t his own cardback yet and/or ever. In the 2009 Collector Guide he is #78. Of course the prototype in the guide has a totally differently shaped body as well, so….
For Fix Update Part II: π
Marilyn is #155, not #163. Dunno who 163 really is…
(MET: Argggh …)
Don’t shoot the messenger! π
#145 Johnny
#146 Jamie
Those are the only others I can confirm need updating.
(MET: Did I get them backwards?)
Yep, their numbers are reversed.
Also, isn’t #137 Dash Boardman lenticular-only, from the last KDay case?
He was in the speedway 9-pack with classic eyes as well as the numbered KMart lenty. He takes great photographs, highly recommended.
I can send some pics of Coriander, Swift, and Dobbs in package if you guys want to see them. Let me know. jtwhatley@wsi5.com
Could you clarify which are Final Lap cards and which are not? I have a Final Lap card list and a non-Final Lap (singles) list.
(MET: The top part is all the Final lap’s on single cards (except for Tim Rimmer – listed since he’s has a number) ).
MET, are Dash, Coriander, Hooman, Derek and Swift on FL cards now????
(MET: Yep, but in very limited release so far … only a handful of cities so far it seems).
All five of them????
cool but are dobbs, widetrack, swift and hooman are already out at targets?
Why the last 3 Cars have the same #? Que pasΓ³ Met? π
MET I believe the numbers in your list are wrong 158 is duplicated and 164 is… triplicated !!! π Also I know HOOMAN is 162, DOBBS is 160 and SWIFT is 158…. You may need to review this.
Yeah, and Matti (reporter) is #165, not #150, so definitely some numbering errors in the list. Highly appreceiated nonetheless, Met! π
Coriander, Hooman, Derek and Swift are out now????? Were they right after that big group of 6 with Milo, Marilyn, etc.??
And Tim Rimmer and Dash were FL singles????
“plus all the other un-numbered βclassicβ non-moving eye βNEWβ CARS released so far ”
Met, you forgot Bumper Save Chief.
Yes this list is confusing as some of these are already released in different formats.
Thanks Met
Have I missed something?
Dash Boardman and Tim Rimmer released as FL singles??
I have the same question about Dash and Tim FLs???? Did I miss something?
MET. Is this a Final Lap only list? That’s how the list title reads.
(MET: Well, ‘NEW,” did not bother to list the FL re-releases like LM, Chick, etc).
Bumper Save chief?
Nitroade chief?
I sure would like to get him in a FL single since I was not able to get the Crew Set with him.
Are the pittys different than the crew sets.
The Wide Pitty in the Bumper Save Team pack (hauler/pitty/car) is the same as the Wide Pitty in the Bumper Save Crew (pitties/Chief) pack except in the Crew pack he is holding the impact wrench. Not sure about Octane Gain and Nitroade as I don’t have them to inspect.
same for Nitroade and Octane Gain Chief and Pitty set. Impact gun.
So it appears one more case and it’s all over for the final laps. I wonder if we will see more repacked cases with previous releases? I hope so because many collectors still need final laps that they didn’t get the first time around.
Any word on wheather or not we will see older final laps repacked?
Why are pitties in FL series when they are released in a set with a crew chief?
Another question about the pitties…will they be $4.95 each???
I think they are listed here just because they are classic eye releases, even though not on a FL card, right?
Percy Handbrake is SO cool!
Neat!
