Disney Pixar CARS: Disney Stores Mator & Dr. Abshlepp Wagen – Even Better!
The other day we sneak peeked the new Disney Stores 20-pack Toons CARS set … which featured among the 20 CARS, two CARS from Unidentified Flying Mater, Mator the UFO and Mater as Dr. Abshlepp Wagen.
As noted … Mator is all plastic but don’t worry, it was not a cost savings measure …
But I did not look closely enough, today I was moving the Mater as Dr. Abshlepp Wagen and noticed he too has a switch at the bottom …
Yep, he lights up just as in the final scene of the short …
Nice!
Not that you really needed another reason to get this set …

Awesome. Can’t wait to own this set.
Why can’t the 1:55 cars be this cool?!! I don’t collect Disney Store cars because they are a lot more expensive and there are not as many, but the ones they do make are way more COOL than the 1:55 line!!!

This gives me hope that we’ll see Mater with Ghostlight someday.
If they do a Mater with working Ghostlight, and he’s in a single or small multi-pack of some sort, then I’m definitely in. The UFM Mator and Dr. A would be an amazing two-pack. I’d definitely break my arbitraty no- Disney-line rule, and cave – or fly…
