Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: More on the Shelves
Not the most exciting return but the Piston Cup racers 4-packs are also on some Target shelves … while this box set is not new, it’s the first release on the “Night Skyline” motif …
Right now, this seems to be the only way to get non rubber tire Piston Cup racers.

I’m glad they are putting the racing numbers on the package. Maybe it will be harder for those who switch out cars and return the boxes.
Targets in Chicago have recently been getting these older 4 packs, none of those forthcoming ones yet. The tower of Vinyl Toupee and Shifty Drug haulers is just unreal; I’d love to see that around here!
When I was across in the US in June this year, there was a pile of VT and Shifty drug haulers like that in the Disneystore in Downtown disney.
I went to Montreal in August and was able to bring back these haulers but at $20 + 15%tax= $23 a piece and that was at Wal-Mart! it is quite expensive since the CDN an US are now even. So this pile will stay there for a verrrrry long time because it is also very expensive for canadian collectors…
Wow, that is a lot of cash. Haulers at WalMart in Chicago are now $10 plus tax, but the newest shipments are all old cases, no Shiftys or VTs in sight. I wish Disney stores around the country could offer all of the Mattel Cars stuff, like in the UK.
I second that Kevin…….why cant the UK get the much better looking English cards….English-England-UK.
I actually think the International version of the packaging is better with the picture rather than the name. From the point of view of trading however the US cards would be better.
Every so often we do seem to get the US cards here.

I want too see a 4 pack with Tachomint and Gaskits. I can’t wait to get a plastic tire Tachomint to race around the track.
Greg Candyman would look nice in the Christmas display as well.
Both are scheduled as pit row launchers, but, are they still making them? Why are they still making ugly tire launchers? I thought Mattel learned their lesson. Nope, still coming. I like the pit row launchers since you can recreate pit row. Will they come back? Anyway, why do all 4 packs have McQueen, and 1 or 2 other common cars? Also, Easy Idle is scheduled for a 4 pack, but also scheduled for a team hauler 3 pack w/ hauler and pitty. Easy Idle Hauler has dissapeared from the single hauler list so it may be your only chance.
First! Anyway, will pit row launchers return? I want to get some new plastic tire racers. I don’t buy 4 packs. Why would you want 2 or 3 duplicates? And why do they all have McQueen? And, when will Paul Valdez be out in the US?
