Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: The Other Holiday CARS
It doesn’t look like there are Mattel Disney Pixar CARS for this Halloween …
There was no indication and I double checked the Target planogram – no CARS … but there seems to be a holiday offering of Lightning McQueen, King, Chick & Mater – presumably in some Christmas bulb packaging?
These are NOT the Holiday Storytellers, they have their own UPC … plus, none of the 4 make an appearance in the holiday Storyteller book or diecasts … as plain ole Lightning McQueen, King, Chick or Mater …
Of course, not really for current CARS buyers but a nice stocking stuffer for the little tyke turning 17 months old … they do have to wait until they’re two years of age before getting the 64 GB iPod Touch … or the Big Ball of Frosted Sugar … though careful you don’t let that thing get rolling, once that big ball of sugar gets going, it will not only collect up the ottoman, your iPod Touch but any relative smaller than 5-foot-5 …

I found TRU well stocked with Bessie today. Can you believe that? I guess Bessie is not going to be as difficult to find as she once was, maybe…. She was lenticular though… just kidding… she has no eyes… but I was not kidding about that huge cache of Bessies
Lucky find. Still haven’t stumbled on any. I ran into TRU for the first time in over a month and found the big cube full of remnants. They had around 30 Marco, 50+ Lightning Storm, and a plethora of the Monster Truck variety. Seems these are not so popular either as most kids haven’t seen the toons or don’t connect with them.
I found Bessie at TRU today too! It was with the Toy Story 3 stuff for some reason.

Target has some cool Lego in their Halloween section: a mini Atlantis set and mini World Racers set. They also have series 2 Collectible Minifigures
