i thought the person in that kmart was lucky
i went yesterday and seen the same thing ecept with alot of last years kmart day cars too!
Hey, Dan, where was that found at?? I live in Illinois, also. Was that up in Chicago, or around Springfield, or where I live in Adams County?? (did not want to give away exactly where I live for safety reasons.
P.S. I could only see four Lightnings, also, but there were a lot on the 4th and last shelf with that “I’m Lenticular!!!!!” bumpout on the card. I think I found a Ron Hover wayyyy back in the 4th shelf, but I’m not sure.
P.S.S It’s my Birthday!!!!!!!! LOL

The Joliet, IL K-Mart still had some Leak Less with Rubber Tires. Turns out some Sears stores in IL were doing the sale also. Our neighbor came over with 3 cars she got from there because she works for Sears.
Wonder how fast they would go if they were priced at 99 cents like most Hot Wheels?
The same in Cheyenne WY, my wife went a couple hours into it and was the first and only one there…
A couple weeks before the Kmart 4 event, I stopped at the Texarkana, Tx KMart. Their Cars section and an endcap were still full of KMart 3 cars. I can imagine how packed it is now.
My store looked pretty much like this all week but today all the Jr’s were gone.
The lightnings and Ron Hovers were short packed…so they be collectors items right?…;}
One KMart in Chicago stickered them and piled them haphazardly all in one shopping cart, probably en route to end cap. Another looked a lot like this one.

I went to my closest Kmart in Franklin Park, there were a lot of these left. not in the end cap; just in the aisle.
For some reason I always get the urge to sort them by car. 🙂

I am hoping my KMart still looks like this! I haven’t made it there since KMart Day to get the few I wanted. My guess is, there are plenty there since it was usually me and one Hot Wheels collector there on the previous event days!

i was just reading a disney magazine about cars from 2006,and it had trivia.it said todd appears twice!
once at the end of course, but also in the life as a highway scene!i want to watch cars for that.
