Race realistic tires – that’s driving the sponsor logo right off the tire …
Of course, once the guy at the factory realized his error, he made sure at the end of his shift he still applied 2,000 Lightyear logos … just a few extra on the next CAR to make up for it.
Either that or it’s some animation effect to go with lenticular eyes …

Noticed on the box I brought home Saturday, as well as the cases pictured above, that they are labeled “Cars Collector MC Fall”. Are these just repacks from returned Cars Day 3 cases?
My Day 4 case is numbered R5598-9997, and has the same serial as my Day 3 case R5598-9993.
I missed the event due to the beach vacation. I just got back from the kmart in PC beach and the table was still set up with the day 4 CARS in perfect condition! Thank You Kmart!

I always go to the Kmart Car Days, get there way before 11:00 and now I am wondering WHY? Getting there early doesn’t make a differance. It starts at 11:00-so I just sit around and wait. I just wait so long for this event to happen that I am excited and I don’t want to miss anything. The Kmart I went to had about 15 to 20 master cases. The sad part of all those cars in boxes was that there was only about 8 people including me. What they did was to put 4 open cases on each side of the table and then let the 8 have at it. No tickets were given out-no need to, I guess. We were able to go through every single case to check them out. The cases did vary-some included McQueen with lenticular eyes, or Ron Hover, Tom the official-I can’t remember any others. All that I did was to get a set of the rubber tire ones. Oh, also, you could that any amount of posters you wanted. I didn’t really pay too much attention to details on the different cars like you guys do. Maybe I should have. I will look at my past cars to see. Sorry for the letter-I just wanted to get my happenings out there.

I have 5 Transberry Juice from Event #1, 4 on card – 1 loose on display, all are above the mouth. I have 10 Transberry Juice from Event #4, most are just above the mouth but not where they should be. I saw others that were way worse.
hmm. All of the Chicago ones I’ve viewed thus far have his headlight decals right at his mouth height, so he kind of looks like he has mutton chops or anime-dimples or something. Maybe if the entirety of the Day 4 Transberries are all incorrect it will have a positive effect on the value of your Day 1 Transberries with correct headlight decals?

The store got 3 master boxes x 4 boxes….12 boxes….for 6 kids and adults……..so cars collector from San Juaquin County, California…..you can check Stockton Kmart…..hope everybody got their cars.
Congrats to the winners! We had a great day. My husband actually went this time, his very first one. Even more amazing, got him to drive us 40 min across town to go to a different Kmart. It was worth it! There were hardly any people compared to our local store, and as bonus we got to meet T5members Eric and Chris. Fun! Great meeting you guys!
13 racers left … 2 more K-Days before the sequel … I say we get them all (well probably minus Apple to keep the MSOS set “special” since we now have variant Dale), so 6 “new” racers per event? Wishful? Yeah, but it COULD happen…
I find it hard to believe we have waited this long for the big three to come out in rubber tire versions, but that may just justify my thoughts even more. What better way to offset a rubber tire McQueen, King and Hicks than a rubber tire Gask-Its, FWD and Tach? The thrill of the first film is ending, let’s wrap it up in style! I still think they ought to do a Chase car for these events. Otherwise, what is the point of their rules? So far we have gotten our own case(es) at each event to sift through with plenty to spare. Make it interesting!

This store received 1x Master Box of 4x cases which meant ONLY 8x sets of exclusives at this store!?
They raffled the 4x cases and 2x Pixar Cars “checklist” Posters at 11:02 am (EST).
Superb job by K-Mart employees JEFF and CALEB – they were very professional ran the event by the rules!

Are they subsidiaries of T5AD now?
Off subject, but any word on haulers? I think that the next case will be Q, and the new hauler in Case Q will be Paul Valdez, because there is one in package on eBay. Also off subject, but will the Team Octane Gain crew pack (with crew chief & 3 pittys) be re-released? I really want one but can’t find one and don’t want to overpay. Also, congratulations to the winners.
Thanks for the tip on Paul Valdez. He looks awesome. I’m excited about him now. I like how they have him sipping on the oil can. AWESOME! Hopefully they put 3 of him and 3 of Viynl Toupee in the next case and NO MORE REPEATS of Hicks or Dinoco!!! PLEASE MATTEL! PLEASE!
I second this thought on the coming case assortment. I’d love to add Valdez and Vinyl Toupee haulers to my son’s troop of carpet-roamers, but so far Vinyl Toupee hauler has been harder to find than a Chase car – and that goes for the Bumper Save and Octane Gain pitty/chief sets as well. Valdez does look really great – love the oil can too! Good luck to us all!

I had fun at K-day 4 yesterday.Now I finally have transberry juice, gasprin, and Dale jr, along with sputter stop (mine has the mustache on it’s grill). I also managed to find trunk fresh from the last event.
I almost forgot to say congradulations to the winners.
When I saw the tire errors I started to panic then ran to comfirm none of mine were that way. I was only looking out for paint job errors…and boy did I find a lot of those. The lady that ran the event did mention that she couldn’t understand why Mattel usually only ships two master boxes during Hot Wheels events and they always sell out and they ship four for Pixar Cars events and never sell out. Hopefully, they do ship most back for Kmart.com and allow our International buyers a chance to dig around Ebayers.
Only thing I noticed was that Dale Jr has black rims and under body compared to the happy Dale’s gray rims and under body. Oh, and his lights are different as well. Oh, and he has the gray divits on the rear spoiler now 🙂 Oh…
Has anyone noticed that Sputter Stop now has a grill? Originally he came without one. 😕

Congrats to the winners! If I remember correctly, the next round of Kmart cars collectors showed up in July for the October event, so maybe we will find out sooner about the next Kmart day! It was amazing how slow it was with little to no interest. My son and I showed up at right at 11:00 AM and we were the first to get tickets. 3 people/group showed up total for 3 master cases. I really hope that they still go through with the next round and like Cac says…Mattel better have 2 of the 4 missing ones if they want to have a great turn out!
so how come nobody warned me the pre-order Kmart #4 cases are sealed in the old K-Mart #3 factory cases.
I was getting pretty upset until I opened up the case.

So 12 more Piston Cup Racers to go! I’m pretty sure if Lightning McQueen, Chick Hicks & The King come out with the synthetic rubber tires, I’ll buy 2 each of the 3. Then when the  car ever shows up, I’m buying 3-4! One for my son, one to keep in the box with all of the PC Racers and one to display in my home office being one who drank the Steve Jobs kool aid years ago. Congrats on the winning the contest BTW.
I was out of town and stop at the Kmart in the South Bend area about 2:00 pm. Was able to get my complete set there and there was atleast 10 or more sets still sitting on the table. At the Target out there I was able to get Waitress Mia & Tia, Flo 3 pack. Stlll trying to find Bessie and the Bumper Save sets.
The only error I found was on one RPM; it looks like one of the Lightyear labels on the back left tire was mis-stamped or almost missing…
I sure hope the October Kmart event will still take place… They need to release 2 of the “big 4”, Apple, Faux Wheel Drive, Gask-Its, and Tach-O-Mint to get people excited about it… Plus it would be great to include at least one of Lightning, Chick, and the King… I think they’ll still need 2 events to get them all in…
Lots left over… at least one store took the extra cases back into the back… I don’t know if they’re going to ship them back to Kmart or use them to restock the pegs every so often…
