A few Targets around the Chicago area seem to have had Case E, but all I found pegged were wet McQueen and a few non-new characters from that case. Case F has mostly come and gone, with some occasional Jamies and Cone McQueens hanging around. I’m all for the FL trading thread mentioned below!

I haven’t found case F yet either; it seems like the Target stores here are waiting for the sale to be over before they stock new Cars. None of the old merchandise has sold either.
I only found A & C in the wild myself. I had to come here to get the case B, D & G. Still missing case E cars. I’m hoping to get some help on those at some point.
I just found a lone Jamie hiding in the back of the bottom peg at my Target. I have now found exactly one more Case F item than I did for all of Case D.
Johnny seems to be the one hardest to find here, since he is a very different casting. McQueen with Cone also disappears fast.
But case F is finally getting out at a few Targets here, but not too many Targets have this case out on the pegs, because the stores have plenty of final lap Crusin’s and Radiator Springs, Kings, FHH, etc.
3 or 4 on the pegs seems to trigger a reorder.
I would agree about Johnny. I found 3 Jamies & 3 McQ w/cone at one Target and 0 Johnnys. I found 2 Johnnys at another Target & only bought one. I think I have missed Bessie because the Targets have the next case after Bessie.

Will any of the following be rereleased because I missed them: Polly Puddlejumper, Dexter Hoover w/ Checkered Flag, Antonio & Costanzo Della Corsa, Donna Pitts, Nick Stickers, Damaged Mood Springs, Johnny, and Jamie. I want them but I missed them.

We haven’t seen anything in Case B or C here in Oklahoma City. Glad to see Case D made it (FINALLY!), but irritated at the same time. Haven’t seen the race damaged Mood Springs, but I’m hoping to soon. I doubt we’ll see F at all.
Why is Mattel ignoring us in Oklahoma? Is it because we’re a “flyover state”?

Any chance the Final Lap Case A & B “News” will be repeated??? All I lack are Dexter (checkered), Blowing Bubbles Mater, and Cone McQueen from the last case.
Met – Can you add the complete case set to this update. There are many other Final Lap of re-releases and it’s good to know if you go to the store and see Cruisin’ McQueen and nothting else then you’ll know case X is still lingering behind.
Still haven’t seen Case F in Pierce County and south King County (WA). From the looks of eBay listings, the closest I constantly see Case F is in Portland, OR? I’m concerned about the price differential and the Target ordering process. Several castings of characters in Final Laps at $4.99 that are also in the lenticular line do not sell well. Parents are apt to buy a lenticular at $3.50 +/- rather than $4.99. In every store the remnants of the ‘common’ castings is blocking the re-ordering process. Target needs to drop their general category of codes for a toy line and start using UPC codes. The pegs are also packed with older waves of action figures, thus blocking the newer castings. Every Target is two waves behind on Marvel Universe figures. Today my order of Wave Two of the 2010 Marvel Universe figures has been shipped by Hasbro.Com at a price a dollar or more cheaper than the peg price at Target, KMart, Walmart, Fred Meyer, etc.

You got to be kidding!!!! I hope that’s not the wave of the future. I know Utah has no sales tax (9.3% here), but, hey, enough is enough!
I was out and about this morning. Miracles never cease. The Cars gods left a case of Final Lap F’s at the Target on Meridian and 160th. Or maybe Santa Claus was stopping early. With all that global warming at the north pole, the old man maybe has shrinking storage space! 🙂

Hmm! I thought your state doesn’t have sales tax because I buy from an on line seller who implies there is no sales tax in Utah?? I know out of state sales are not taxable (yet), but, the seller always implies ‘no sales taxes’ in Utah.
well they do have sales tax here. We do get charged ONLINE sales tax also
Alaska, Oregon, Delaware, Montana, and New Hampshire have no state sales tax.

I wish I knew who in Portland was finding all of the case F Final Laps, cause it sure isn’t me. I have found remnants at the Target near the airport and that’s it. If someone is putting them up on eBay, why on Earth did they leave me scraps? 🙂 They should have picked them all up. Lucky for me I guess. I can’t believe how many FL McQueens and Verns are clogging up the pegs at the other dozen or so I have hit in the last week. I hope we get some “peg clarity” before G comes out. Case F is a bit of a let down as the cars are pretty boring (not like E and D for sure). We should just start up a Final Lap trading thread as these cases are geographically spotty to say the least! haha
I wish they would send all the pegwarmers to the gulf and plug that oil up, maybe thats where the FL cars went

as of yesterday, there was one Johnny and a couple cone McQs at the Glisan street Target. after hitting, on average, three targets a day for the last six months i have two Johnnys, a cone McQueen and two RD Mood Springs to show for it. yeah, it’s pretty frustrating.
Obviously we need to join forces Chris. I had no idea anyone other than Lorri was in Oregon. Maybe we can stop wasting so much gas with a coordinated effort… 🙂

Wow, the first final laps I have ever seen at my local target were case f. that’s just sad… Good to know how far behind I am.
