I found the one with the mater with lenticular eyes??? what the heck?

I have friends in southern California and the Chicago area who have reported finding this new Flo’s V8 Gift Pack at TRU… Both have seen more sets wrong than right – lenticular eye Mater instead of classic eye Mater, and 2 Waitress Mia and 0 Waitress Tia…
Shades of the Dinoco Team Crew set with yellow tires instead of blue…
I know you mean rims/wheels instead of tires. I’d pay extra for colored tires! 🙂

Yes, the rims were the wrong color in a lot of the early releases of the Team Dinoco set…
There were 8 at the Allen, TX TRU. Didn’t notice any errors though.
Same here in Houston. 6 of the Flo’s sets and no errors.
No errors in Houston CAC.

My TRU had 6 this morning, all case fresh, and no errors. Called this morning and got them to hold 2 for me. They are so nice, and no errors at all.
Our store has zero, none in the system. I should have you pick up 2 for me! A lot of time and gas can be wasted trying to find this stuff. 🙁

Wow Met you went from using Toto lyrics to Arlo Gurthrie choruses. I’m impressed. We’ve had a tradition of listening to Alices restaurant on Thanksgiving for years. “You see in all started on Thanksgiving day on Thanksgiving”. Just too funny.
By the way I really like this set. This has to be considered a must have for most collectors. It’s about time we got a variant Flo and These Mia and Tias are great. Damn I still impressed by the Alices restaurant reference though. I have to move you up a notch on the cool scale after this. What’s next a Simon and Garfunkel/ Lady Gaga hybrid cross reference?

The Dexter clone will probably pose no interest to my kids, so we’ll likely end up with the googley eyed 3 pack. Which is fine, considering TRU’s overpricing.
