Of course, the bumper mouth-teeth does not actually pull apart … think kids and little pieces … or not so bright adults … mmmmm, tiny almond joy bar …

It looks like Fred with Fallen Bumper with bumper glued shut plus lenticular eyes … just try fitting that on a card.
This is Lenticular Fred with Stickers next to “Classic” Fred with Stickers. It might just be an optical illusion but Lenticular Stickers Fred looks a tad taller and a tad wider … is this the THIRD size of Fred?

I picked up a Fred with Fallen Bumper at Wal Mart yesterday and now that I’ve opened it I see it’s the Bumper Stickers version (with the higher bumper on the right). Looking around at photos on the Web I see that I may not really have an error, but that these two cars are more or less interchangeable to whoever is packaging them. (It’s hard to tell the difference looking at photos of the packaged “Fallen Bumper” Freds, because the left portion of the bumper that shows is practically identical, but there is a tell-tale downward slope to the left side of the bumper on “Bumper Stickers” Fred.) Can anyone shed any light on the inconsistency? Did someone think “Fallen Bumper” Fred was too creepy and replace him the more smiley version?
Lenticular Fred with Stickers? No way, that’s just Fred with Fallen Bumper. He has stickers on him, confusing some people…And Fred with Fallen Bumper looks bigger than Fred with Bumper Stickers, orginial eyes…
whys he so small ? is he supposed to be better scalled or something ? i dont get the size difference ?

Don’t know about the rest of you, but not even taking into consideration the fact that he is lenticular… this mold is pretty weak if you ask me, especially for a Chase car. The teeth are definitely out there.

I have the StoryTellers 3-Pack with Fred, Smell Well McQueen, and Fabulous Hudson Hornet. This is the only Fred I have. Does anyone know the Fred in that pack is small Fred or larger Fred? He seems pretty small to me.
(MET; Small Fred – large Fred only appeared on a WOC card – early on).
He is just a little Fred… Sans stickers… Bumper up…

Either way – i’ll take two – or four or six!!!
Seems that they are trying to adjust the size just a bit as they did seem to over compensate a little bit when trying to scale him down from the original size.
I wish it wasn’t lenticular at all. I know I don’t collect lenticulars anymore but this I want because it’s a chase car.
Bring back original Fred!
