Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: Walmart New …
Walmart has gotten in some new CARS “trays.”
It looks like these are CASE F & G CARS …
Plus it looks like CASE J has also arrived on a sidekick so look around your Walmart.
Hard to say what the exact case content is as the trays and sidekicks tend to be a mix of a couple cases but CHASE CARS should be a little easier to find.
A couple of people have also reported seeing lenticular Chuki also so maybe CASE K is out also?
Happy hunting!
Thanks for the pics, “PitStopToyShop.”
BTW, those are not CARS skateboards, they are How to Train Your Dragon …
Walmart had a HUGE new display this morning. Lots of Chase Kings.
Ew, Lenitculars! Oh look! A How to Train Your Dragon skateboard!
Met,
As a fellow Bay Area-n, which Walmart did you clear all of the chase cars out of so I know not to bother? 🙂
(MET: I’m pretty much the last Bay Area CARS buyer you have to worry about. 😆 By the time I roll into a store (every few weeks at 2 PM …), I get my choice of Radiator Springs McQueen but not much else … so, good luck to you!)
The Bay area might still be okay. It’s the Niagara Falls area that got wiped out! 😀
Oops, sorry, I didn’t look who sent in the pics! Can’t make it out to WM until Saturday anyhow…if only collecting cars paid the bills…
“Daddy’s Rock Stardom… Paid for the Bills!”
Hey UK people, Cars is showing at the NFT in London this Saturday if you want to go see it again!

Jon
Off to check out our local WM. All I want is one Chase DJ!
BTW Met, are you loving your new iPad or are you holding out for the 3G model?
(MET: Holding out for 3G – check in next week 🙂 ).
Yup, should’ve known. Bupkis at WM today. Chase DJ you elude me again
Collectormom,
What city are you in? Chase DJs were pretty available in Southern California weeks ago.
Send me an email: ken556@charter.net
I have had better luck with the chase cars than with the final lap. In a single day at one Walmart I found 3 Chase Ramones, 5 Chase DJs, 3 Chse Cartrips, and 3 Chase Metallic Kings. I must have been there at the perfect timing after the refilled the shelves. This walmart had 8 sidekicks with 3 in the sporting aisles.
If the Chase King & chase Bling Bling are noted to be less than 1%, imagine what that means with the Final Lap then!
I picked up some of the trays, and left the Cars on the endcap.
Any Van sightings in Texas yet?
no Van around here.
I haven’t even seen chase King yet. But honestly, I haven’t really been trying lately.
2 trips to Target and 3 trips to Walmart in the last month. I’m mostly interested in Final Lap cases, and not much else. At least they are getting easy to find now.
I found 2 Chase Kings at one Wal-Mart. But I see what you mean, we usually make 2-3 trips in one week!
Found a Chase King today at Target ….. and bought it ….. I feel so dirty now… my first lenticular … lol
They also had 12 Jay Limo final lap , 11 Vern Final lap, 1 Wet McQueen, and 0 Wrecked Mood Springs. I think Jay and Vern aren’t selling because there are a ton of lenticular versions for $1.50 less right beside them.
Interesting; I think you’re right, except I haven’t seen FL Jay since the few that I bought. The only ones I see now are FL Vern and wet McQueen.
Hoping to find at least one Van and also hoping it’s not lenticular.
Hopefully my local Wal-Mart will keep stocking. They already have 2 end caps 90% full of Cars, in addition to the small aisle section!
I second that, “blah”.
Chuki is definitely from Case K. Here are the contents:
1-Chase Van
3-Chuki
2-Andretti (Red rims)
1-Purple Ramone
1-DJ
2-FHH
2-Mater
3-MQ
2-Cruisin MQ
2-Dirt Track MQ
2-Sheriff
2-Snot Rod
1-Vern
Does the Chase Van have stickers?
Out of the 5 I’ve seen, none have any stickers.
Definitely looks like lenticulars are filling in the older castings. That’s good for buyers looking for those missing characters. My opinion: If the pace continues it will push the old non-lenticular castings into collector status. I do not see the Final Lap line filling in the older numbers. With the price point difference of a $1.00 or more lenticulars will be the popular choice for discriminating buyers. Soon the non collector entering the market place will not even know in the beginning there were non-lenticular Cars.
I actually saw this case at Target yesterday (minus the chase of course)
I’ll take the Chase Van.
