Movie Moments are not dead yet – at least not in Europe …
Of course, in Europe, this is the only opportunity to buy the ‘classics’ non-lenticular CARS.

Will Movie Moments return to the US?
Right now, it doesn’t look likely in the short term. There are just too many SKU’s already associated with CARS – ranging from four lines of singles (Final Lap, Lenticular, “Short Cards” & Toons) to Haulers, to playsets to megasize, etc. that these are back-burnered.
What’s also interesting is that they are no longer listed as a Target-only item … but will they become available for other retailers to order? Later this Fall?
Will they become lenticular Movie Moments? Since 90% of the Movie Moments CARS are already out as single lenticulars?
We shall have to wait and see.
I do find it amusing that they feel they have to be literal on the card design … that if it’s a Movie ‘Moment.’ it must show CARS watching CARS on the big screen …
Otherwise, we would become confused, I guess … 🙄
Even if it makes no real sense … the last design showed CARS watching a movie in the Speedway infield watching the CARS movie projected in a Dinoco tent …
This time, the “screen” is apparently set up in the middle of the freeway … but CARS are driving off the roadway?

Nothing new but nice if you haven’t got Gasprin or Mrs King
Apart from lenticulars and Hauler tractor units (Mega Size) all we have is MM’s, old style packaging of course. If you missed any then I am your man, saw 10 PT Flik and Flea sets this afternoon!
I remember when the only MM’s on the shelves were Buzz & Woody and Mike & Sully. I would curse their names loudly (in my head) that there wasn’t anything new. Good times
I like the packaging but where are the new ones?

Movie Moments were once something to get excited about once upon a time…because they were the only way to get certain cars!!

Those were good times, because you could get a totally new package of vehicles to add. You didn’t have to worry about now having an extra Fillmore, Sally, or others.
I do agree- how in the world is a Mini and Van two-pack not seen as a slamdunk? I would love an end credits worn and downtrodden couple, with Van looking crazy-eyed.
I guess two-packs could best be described like in this altered Monty Python line: “I’m not dead, but I’m not getting any bettah!”
I would also guess that if they re-release 2-packs, they are probably going to be THE EXACT SAME THING EXCEPT WITH MOVING EYES!!

Movie Moments are actually my favorite packaging. You get two cars for just a little more than one car. But yeah, how about some NEW ones.
Whatever man – This is just things to come in Canada as well I presume… Matty must have dated a canadian that broke his heart and sent him packin’… That’s why he has nothin’ but contempt for us collectors!
