Winners of Dec – Jan T5 Tip Jar Donation Contest FreebiePalooza!
UPDATE: Tip Jar link fixed! Thanks for the heads-up, Gordon!
So you thought Metro was the only one who could invent words, eh? Heh…
While this announcement comes a bit later than anticipated after grinding through the randomization procedures we put into place, we have arrived at our list of three winners for the FreebiePalooza! If you don’t recall this contest and don’t want to click the link above, the contest provided for one entry for each dollar donated to our T5 Paypal Tip Jar.
Thank you all for helping keep the squirrels at bay here at Take5! We do have our own secret agent to help us with all our contest endeavors:
So hear ye, hear ye one and all! Our three winners of the Dec / Jan Contest FreebiePalooza (mentioned here) are (in random order naturally):
Kristi Downing
Gordon Bennett
John Jurgovan
You each have won:
One (1) 2008 Hallmark Keepsake Christmas ornament of Luigi and Guido: Race Fans – a true collectible and getting harder to find by the minute (now that we gave three away, heh).
And one (1) Dinoco Helicopter courtesy of our great friends at the Disney Consumer Products and Disney Stores! Ka-Chow! These are rather big…see below:
Congrats to all three winners!
If you would like to have a real solid chance to win another round of great prizes, just drop us a donation over at our Take5 Tip Jar! We will be holding another drawing for donations made in Feb and March soon.
Congrats!!
Thanks friends!!!! Reminds me… I really should “tip” again!
Well done all.
Gordon Bennett! Any takers UK Take5ers?
“I’ve won the contest”
“Really?”
“Yeah!”
“Gordon Bennett!!!!!”
(Try urbandictionary.com if you live in the US/Canada)
I knew this was going to come up!!!!!!! Actually, I prefer the fact that Gordon Bennett was a big sponsor of early auto racing and that many great racing events carried his name.
However, Murpheeie, since Brits are thin on the ground here in the Midwest, I don’t have to suffer too much embarrassment. At least, nothing like what happens when one of my friends calls me “Gordo” in front of some Hispanic acquaintances (look that one up in a English/Spanish dictionary)!
Woot!
Congrats to you all!! 🙂
Thank you very much. This is the first thing I’ve won since I correctly guessed the number of candy corn pieces in a giant jar in Cub Scouts. (My mom was the den mother and I got VERY sick. I still hate candy corn.)
Gordon
So does that mean you hate Yokoza? 😉
Congrats to these great supporters!
Felicitations!!!
Cone-grats John, Kristi & Gordon!!!
