Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: Lenticular Singles Next 2 CASES
So far, the information is only available for the current lenticular singles CASE F and the forthcoming CASE G.
This (mostly accurate) checklist showing the releases through CASE G is HERE.
CASE F has arrived in some places but not everywhere … for those collecting them all, this is the first appearance as lenticular 2.0’s for the following CARS: Lightning Ramone & Dinoco Chick Hicks. NOTE: Not the first appearance as a lenticular but the first appearance on the Night Skyline card and/or with lenticular 2.0 eyes.
Case G will most likely not ship-arrive until the NEXT Final Lap shipment which will presumably contain VERN – the “new” lenticular CAR of this case.
And for those keeping track, CASE G will feature the first Lenticular 2.0 appearance of: Flo, Guido & Luigi, Hydraulic Ramone, Lightning Ramone, Snot Rod & Vern, of course.

Are they going to repeat any of the Final Lap new Cars in future Final Lap cases??? The current case plan is not working out to say the least. Only three Final Lap cases released and they already need a “catch up” case. This plan is an Ebay sellers dream.
(MET: That would be logical … (insert comment here) … my feeling is we should be seeing non-lenticular 3-packs as the ‘catch-up’ but other than a text listing, I have no real proof …).
It’s hard to believe they would give TGT the exclusive on the Final Lap series, ship only a very few cases per store, then move on to the next case and not repeat any “new release” previous case offerings. This has got to be the worst distribution plan ever!
Too true. It’d be nice to see those speculated catch up 3 packs make the rounds at all stores. If not all Final Laps cases/cars.
So does this mean that there will be no more Series 1.0 lenticulars released? Why did Mattel even start the Series 2.0 (other than to get us to buy multiples of the same car with different eye movements)? And yes, I buy lenticulars…my 2.5 year old daughter loves them. I had never even seen the movie Cars until ~6 months ago and now I’m constantly trolling the aisles of Target and Walmart looking for new releases 🙂
(MET: Yes, it definitely be logical to presume that the majority of LEN1.0 ones are ‘retired,’ as singles and perhaps even in any other config).
The only car from Case G I’m getting is Hydraulic Ramone (Ransburg Chase). I still have not found that new DJ! I rather get Vern as a Final Lap car along with Jay Limo.
Okay now really royally confused.
What’s the difference in lenticulars? I will not buy every version of the eyes, just trying to get one of each but already that’s hard.
Which eye version is the best?
Isn’t that sort of like asking someone which deadly plague they’d prefer to catch most?

I guess, but since I do these in my son’s memory and I know little boys love the moving eyes thought I’d ask.
I just buy one of each lenticular I find and its hard to find all the same style.
So I’d figured I’d ask what others like best.
Sadly, as I am “one of each character” collector, I’ll most likely end up with googly eyed Vern. Fat chance of getting to a Target “near” me before any new Final Laps are scooped up by scalpers or other collectors. Same will happen with Jay Limo too no doubt.
I pefer the lenticular to the painted eyes.the painted eyes look dead .where as the lenticular eyes move like the character in the movie. i guess those who dont like lenticular eyes would say the same if the painted eyes were the new kid on the block.
yes sally has only been on the first lenticular card same for flo and luigi and guido i thought sarge pit crew member was a chase car? and a final lap? and now a lenticular as well maybe next a hotdog vender?
(MET: Salutin’ Sarge is CHASE, Pit Crew Sarge is not – remember, Pit Crew sarge is also avail in the len 3-pack so if you’re an opener …)

Walmart almost got me on a super 3 pack of damaged the King and McQueen and hoover with checkered flag!!!

The final lap classic cars came out very close to the lenticulars 3 pack for Costanzo and Antonio. Within a week or two.
I think I’m officially done collecting them all…
I am not 100%, but isn’t this also the first 2.0 appearance of Sally?
Yeah, I think case G is really the first appearance in Final Lap Lenticulars for Sally, and not Lightning Ramone. Maybe just a typo above? Sally for Lightning Ramone new in Case G (in your text below the list), MET?
We now get lenticulars really quickly so I for one am happy to see Vern in whatever form.
hmmm, interesting situation with Vern. Very nice to see Ramone going Ransburg, as close as he can probably get to Von Dutch!
So, our first chance to get Vern will be in Lenticular form? Yuck.

Should we assume that Lenticulars are the answer to the question posed in “A Bug’s Life”? And that was, “Who ordered the Poo Poo Platter?”.
Yet another Lenticular that will beat the Classic to market. So much for that theory. However, there is still time left.
