Disney Pixar CARS: Japan Tomy Mini Mater Tall Tales Mack
Tomy has updated their Mini Mack for the Mater Tall Tales … you get a Dragon McQueen, Mater Tuner, El Materdor Mater & Mater the Greater …
The package doesn’t look like much as you have to assemble and sticker most of it …
And the elaborate instructions …
Since I know not much Japanese, fortunately you can pretty much go by the pictures and the stickers are numbered though freakin’ tiny!
Assembling Mack is pretty straightforward …
Then apply the above stickers …
You definitely get your money’s worth – it’s elaborate!
But of course, what’s the point of a Mack unless it opens up and you get CARS!
Honestly, these are cute enough but if you look closely at the first sticker photo above, not only do you get a ramp sticker for each so they know where they should park …
But each mini CAR has equally mini stickers to apply!
Pretty gosh darn cute, huh – here’s mini, mini Mater the Greater next to Mattel’s 1:55 Mater the Greater.
And mini, mini El Materdor next to Disney 1:43 El Materdor …
(yes, I had to apply that teeny, tiny mustache to mini, mini El Materdor).
AND yes, not only do the wheels roll, they are mini launchers – insert the key in the back, squeeze and they go shooting down the hall …
These are not available in the US – I believe you can buy them off eBay (there’s a shocker) 🙂
If you want more of a size comparison, check the out the last post on the last version of mini Yujin Mack …
As an owner of the first version, I should check them too.
I can find it on ebay. Whereelse ?
(MET: They don’t sell them in the US directly … I think I have only seem them on the Asia eBay sites so my guess is Asia only?)
Ugh more plastic
Put a 1:55 Original brown Mater and a mini brown Mater together and you’ve
got Mater’s little son, Mater Jr. or Tater.
Mc Queen – “Mater, you don’t have a son”
Mater – “Do so!
Mc Queen – “Do not”
Mater – “Sure I do, you remember, you was there too!
Now this scene I’m creating has got me thinking, Mater needs a
girlfriend, like an old pink Pick Up or something.
Yes, I have time on my hands to think of this stuff.
How about…
Mater and Sue
Mater and Darla
Mater and Peggy
I want royalties on this.
Hehe
(MET: Wasn’t she described as looking like a Jaguar & a truck – how many trucks can fit that description?)
These are freaking SWEET!!!
Going to eBay right now!
they are quite cute, except the mack which is too squarish
btw has the Mattel version of El Materdor been released?
Ok – I just may have to bend my “No Minis” rule… YOW!!!!
I believe cubes 3 and 4 were swapped which is why the rear wheels are so far apart. Like you said, the instructions are elaborate.
I believe 2 and 3 should flip to match the picture…both wheels…close together in the back
looks like the wheels are removeable and can be placed in multiple spots..
Those are rather cute!
Wow!!! very cool cars, and I like the do – it – yourself bit.
Mack is really cool! I’d like to buy several of them, and make the world’s longest (mini) truck.
WOW! Those super mini-mini’s look prety cool! We resist the mini’s …… must resist the mini-mini’s too! 😆
